Would you post your Wedding Announcement online or in a newspaper??

FH says if I even think of posting a picture or any type of wedding announcement of our wedding day in Newsday.com or the NY Times Weddings section, he will flip out..

which made me think - how many of you ladies would post a wedding announcement with pictures and a little bio of you and FH in a newspaper or LIW/NYTimes/any other blog, etc?

Do you think its cheesy? or something your family expects because that's just how were raised? What do you think FH would say about this? would he be for it or against it? Would he want the publicity or be adamant about maintaining privacy?

I think we might put a picture in the paper after we are married. I would like a pic of us in our wedding attire.

i dont think its cheesy... but im not planning on doing it... a girl i grew up with did it and thats actually how i found out she got married... my brother saw the announcement in the paper and he told me about it

I think we're going to do it in Newsday or the local town paper (Northport Observer).

we probably won't. not bc i think its cheesy...i just dont really care enough to do it. lol

My FH is like that too. He doesn't want his name or picture anywhere. I don't think he even knows I have it on here, or he'd flip out...lol, like he's so important! I guess some people are just really private.

I have a local paper that does that. Most list alot of personal info like area you'll be living in, name of the place you work, etc. Me personally I wouldn't want that out there as public information. I'm sure people will hear threw the grapevine that I got married without putting it in the paper.
