At my shower, one of my friends from HS who I haven't kept suuuuuuuuuuper close with over the years came, and I was really happy to see her, because we can go a year plus at a time without seeing each other, but then when we do we always have a great time catching up. So basically, just a really cool, drama free relationship.

She ended up giving such an extremely generous gift, that I was floored. Her main gift of our high-end towels would have been so much more than enough and certainly more than I would have expected for her to give, but on top of that she also got me the long sleeve bride hoodie from VS, the one with Bride on the back and the Future Mrs on the front.

It really is very cute, but I already have my embroidered Est. hoodie which I planned on wearing day of, and I know I really probably will never get the opportunity to wear this one. And I know that that hoodie is NOT cheap, so I feel really guilty.

Would you keep the hoodie even if you knew you probably wouldn't wear it since you have a personalized one, or would you exchange it to grow your meager lingerie collection?

This one I actually feel guilt over, because I didn't expect so much from her

i would return it-while it was very thoughtful of her if you have one already im sure she would rather you get something you can get more use out of

you can always wear the other one on your honeymoon either while bumming around or on the plane or somethingl..

Exchange it, it was very thoughtful but you have one and she won't know the difference or mind I'm sure!

I would keep the personalized one and get something else in exchange. I'm sure she'd want you to get some good use out of her gift.

return it for something you want such as expanding your sexy undies collection as you mentioned. Don't feel bad I think your friend who rather you have something you will use then to just waste a gift she bought you. Go for it!!!

I'd exchange it, she'll never know the difference. I'd feel more guilty keeping it and never using than exchanging it for something I will use.

I'd want to keep it because I'm sentimental, but the reality is you wont use it. I'd exchange it for some things you'd actually use.

As an aside, I didn't know VS had such a cute hoodie!! Now I want to order it but I already bought one that says 'Bride' in crystals on the back. Getting another one would also be a waste for me.

I would exchange it for something else and tell your friend in advance becuase you dont want hard feelings the day of, just be honest, and tell her you needed some undies for the HM!

I would exchange it. Of course the sentiment was very nice, but if you are never going to use it and it will go to waste then I would exchange it for something that you can bring on the honeymoon or something else that you need. She doesn't have to know

I would exchange it! Get something you can hopefully use for the HM
