I am trying to find wedding shoes and it's taking me forever. I found a pair that I LOVE but they are $300 and I am having a hard time spending that. But they are beautiful and comfortable and I can dye them after. I also found another pair thats nice and they are $100 but I can't dye them after so I don't want a pair of shoes I can only wear once. Did you spend alot on your shoes? Would you?

I spent $65 on shoes. I just couldnt spend that kind of money on a pair of shoes I will probably only wear once. JMO

I would spend enough that they are comfortable, but that expensive pair sounds crazy! I have never noticed a bride's shoes. For the extra money you could spend on teh dyeable shoes you can probably buy another pair that starts out in another color.

I paid $75 for a pair of Stuart Weitzman's - don't think I would have paid the $210 that I've seen them go for...and I can dye them again. I originally intended on buying Kenneth Cole's - cause I love how his shoes fit - but couldn't find what I liked in my size.
DSW carries a variety of brands and styles at good prices.

Personally, I would not spend that much because like the other girls--no one sees them and if you are in to cutting costs, that is one place you could save some extra $$$$. Also, if you pay that much, they better be comfortable. I am going for comfort!!

YES! GO get them!
You obviously like them so much that you would post a thread to look for an answer that would justify getting them.
Remember that you get a lot of shoe shots on your wedding day, especially if you're doing the garter toss. You don't want to look at those pics and dream about the shoes you wanted. But that's me, I'm all about NO REGRETS.

I spent $255 plus shipping and handling for my Vera Wang shoes from myglassslipper.com. They are absolutely the most beautiful shoes I have ever seen and comfortable, too. I danced all night! What's so funny is that I got so many compliments on them. Don't believe what you hear. They DO see your shoes! I can't wait to wear them again. I sound like Carrie Bradshaw .

I would spend the $300 if they were dyable and I would get lots of use out of them! (In fact I like that idea!)
If I couldn't reuse them, I wouldn't spend too much bc no one sees them....

I would but thats just me.... I was lucky enough to find an inexpensive pair that I liked. For me- if I like something...I mean really like something, I buy it no matter what the price!

I agree that people do see your shoes. I personally know that one of my photographer's (Debbie from North Island) likes to take some pics of feet walking, so I will make sure my shoes are pretty

Personally, I wouldn't do it either but I don't even spend $300 on shoes I can wear everyday...I spent about $65 on mine. I also dyed them after the wedding but to tell you the truth I only wore them once because it rains every wedding I go to! But they one shot I did get to wear them - my feet turned a little black - so now I am skeptical to wear them.
If you can afford them and really love them - I don't have a problem with it though!
