I notice that there are courses at a nearby one for me...next summer they will only be about $50 per class...

I'd like to do it for personal reasons...to design our home...since I have no clue...but there are also degrees and certificates...

I would take them, and probably will once we purchase a house. A friend of mine wanted to do the degreee and went to a really tough class that took up a lot of time, but I don't think all of them are like that.

I think its good to know the overall decorative framework of living space and what works well with human psychology/perception of space.

I would in a heart beat. I was going to a couple of years ago but they were at Queens college when I didn't have a car. I wouldn't have been able to get their on time. Now I have DH - he's good at this stuff.

For $50.00 why not. At a minimum you will bet the basics. Enjoy the class.

Absolutely!

You never know who is teaching these courses. (could be someone GOOD!) Between the students and the professor, you may make some good interior design friends!
