I know most people over here are TTC. I am not yet, but think about baby things a lot! LOL Anyway, if you were preggo, would you want to know what you are having?
I have a few preggo friends who are not sure if they want to know or not. How do you all feel?
I would want to be surprised!

I want the surprise for my first! I like the idea of the anticipation! But I think I might be open to knowing after that!
But I am not TTC either so who knows how I will feel when the time comes!!! Its seems that everyone is finding out these days! I know about 6 people at work and only 1 doesnt know what she is having yet!!!

not actively TTC yet, but I'm not sure what we're going to do....I love the idea of a surprise, but also the idea of knowing and being able to prepare....Hmmmmm

I am like you! I want it to be a surprise. DH says that he wants to know and he thinks he is going to find out the sex and not tell me... but there is NO WAY!!!! I know he wouldnt be able to keep a secret.

I definently want to be surprised. Precious little has surprised me in the past, both good and bad, so I am waiting for the ultimate surprise!

We decided that we want to find out - I did with my first - I am a planner, I needed his room to be ready with his colors and his clothes too. I also felt that since we knew it was a boy and we had named him already that it was more real and I felt more connected by calling him Jordan and not just 'the baby'

yes! but i think atleast for the first one i want it to be a surprise if i could manage to hold out. I would love to know and be able to decorate the room .

We were just talking about this the other night. I was surprised to hear that DH DOES want to know 'to make things easier'. I don't know, I don't really want to know. Yes, it would make it easier but I remember when my SIL was in labor we were all so excited trying to guess what they would have...it was fun (she had a boy )
I just don't know how easy it will be to say no when the Dr says 'OK I can see now, do you want to know the sex'

we're FAR from TTC, but I agree with denakimou. I worked in the press department for a ballet company and one of the dancers was pregnant. They did an article on her in the Times and when asked if they knew if they were having a girl or a boy, her husband was quoted as saying There are so few genuinely wonderful surprises in life, why would we want to ruin that? It says it all I think That said DH said he would want to know...I DEFINITELY don't. We'll have to duke it out when the time comes

I am also horible with surprises. I would want to know. Either way it wouldn't matter, but I might lose sleep if I didn't find out.
