Would or have any of you considered wearing wedges on the day of the wedding? I think they would be more comfortable, but I'm not so sure I'd be able to dance. Here's what I'm thinking of:
i think wedges are good for the ceremony and/or pictures especially if outside, but i have never come across a lightweight pair of wedges and would probaby find them uncomfortable to dance in
test them out?

I got wedges for the wedding day. they are actually extremely comformtable and lightweight! and beautiful!
I would... mainly bcause Im short and want 5 inches..lol....I might just do that..they'll be a lot more comfortable...

I wanted to get wedges but I never found a pair that was the right height. Can't have too tall- want to be shorter than FH on our wedding day

I love wedges, but I didn't even consider wearing on my wedding day because I found thse Stweart Weitzman's even before my dress and loved them so much.
But then, I realized, oh no , the ceremony is on grass and I'm going to mess up my shoes... so I got these:
But you know, once they were delivered to me, I love them so much that I might actually wear them during the whole time, not just ceremony. They are kind of cheaply made, and they were 1/3 the cost of the others. Go figure.

These are what I wore....THE ENTIRE TIME. I did fine, but boy would I have loved wedges!!!

Gemmifer wore wedges I would have worn them-I won a bazillion pairs of wedges...I was just looking for a lower heel

Love these shoes!
The original posters wedges with no straps-- just be careful because there are no straps, there's a little less support and the shoe will flop around dancing, so watch your balance.
