A leopard print gown to your e-party?

My e-party is next month at the Swan Club on a Sat night. CH in the afterdeck, main dining and dancing with a DJ in the Contessa Room. We are pretty much doing the whole nine yards. I'm expecting somewhere around 70 ppl. Been going dress shopping for a few weeks now and cannot find anything!!! I've searched and searched. I need something with a WOW factor because that is my style.

Today I found a gown that I LOVE at Nordstrom. It's a leopard print satin gown with built in bustier and straps but it's backless. I tried it on and it looks AMAZING. I brought my MOH and BM w/me and they said I totally pull it off. It was expensive but I really love it so I bought it. My question...do you think it's too much for an e-party? It looks like a NYE gown IMO, esp since its a backless leopard print gown! But it's my day and when would I ever be able to wear something like that again?? Plus it's kind of a formal party, I mean ppl have weddings there! What do you ladies think?? Too much?

I def would! I wore a leopard print gown to a new years party a couple of years ago - loved it!

at first, my hunch was to say 'no way, leopard is too trashy looking for a semi formal affair like an e-party' but then I saw the pictures of the dress and you in it and I just gotta say - GO for it! you have a fantastic figure and it looks gorgeous on you!!

I say go for it but just don't wear a lot of jewelry...I personally feel if you have a bold print, to let that be the statement, know what I mean.

Who makes that dress? I love the cut of it..sexy without being obscene...

personally, I would never wear leopard print anything ever, but thats me...

ETA: I just checked the pic you posted... you look great, and like Margorie said you can pull it off
