...ever book a hair stylist without doing a trial first based on all excellent reviews?

I probably wouldn't just because i don't want to start making changes day of the wedding. I want both me and my hair stylist already know what to do. The less decisions or changes I have to make on my wedding day - the better!

I don't think I would. However, I did love the hair stylist my cousins used at their weddings. I was in each bridal party and got my hair done both times by her, so I'm familiar with her work. I think that would be the only situation where I'd book before a trial just because I know she does a great job, not just for the bride but for everyone in the party! But I would still want to see her before to make sure I like the looks done on the wedding day.

I would never. I'm very picky and I don't need to be frustrated the day off worrying about my hair.

I wouldn't book someone I am unfamiliar with without doing a trial. I am using the girl who's done my hair for the past ten years and would totally skip a trial with her because she knows me and my style.. I'm doing one anyway for fun tho:)

I know someone that did. I am way to picky!

To ease my nerves I would have to have the trial before I were to book with. My nerves will be all over the place the day of and that would definitely be one less thing I would have to stress about.

I don't know if I would do it because I am super picky and crazy with things like that butttttt
I don't think it would be ridiculous to book someone based on reviews and then have a trial after to finalize the style you want etc.

I almost booked Dusti without doing a trial, but decided better safe than sorry so that I don't freak out day of, and to be 100% honest after the trial I definitely think I could have skipped it, although now I have a greater peace of mind about it. I'd say unless you're not sure about a style, or unsure of how something will look on you I really think you'd be safe with her. My hairstyle was very simple compared to some of the work I've seen from her, her updos seem gorgeous. I can only speak for her specifically and my experience with her though.

I did for both hair and makeup. But it's a little different of a situation it's to of my very good friends who I know their work very well. My friend who is doing my hair hasn't done and updo on me but she has colored cut and styled it before so I trust them
