Wow...

Wow...

I don't want to be depressing but I had to tell someone this...Last night FH put his golf clubs in our bedroom at about 8pm. I went to bed around 10:30. Well, at 11:30 the golf clubs fell over...loud enough that FH ran in from the living room. I laid there relaxed and just said 'oh, your clubs fell'...normally I FREAK if there is any abnormal noise. FH picked them up and leaned them against the well. Well, at 1:04am they crashed to the floor, FH ran in and again, I was calm....

today is 3 months since my father passed away...11:30 was when he went to the hospital and he passed away at 1:04am...

You think my dad is with me?!?!

Re: Wow...

omg wow!!!!!!!!

i really believe in that---i think maybe it was your dad. i remember when my grandfather died, that nite the power went out in the house--and my mom had to take a shower by flashlight. (she was taking a breather from being in the hospital) and the flashlight flickered on and off at exactly 12:06 a.m.---and it turned out that when the power went out--he was crashing in the hospital, and at 12:06--he passed on.

when she finished her shower--before we had goten the call she said 'i think Gaby (my gpa) just died' it was so freaky!

Re: Wow...

Colleen you gave me the goosebumps

I so believe it was your dad. My younger brother died when he was 2 months old from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome and on his death date Nov 10th something good always happens to my mom.....and she always sees a sign or something that just makes her think 'Oh John is with me and saying hi'

Funny thing is.....My dad won a million dollares from a website called iwon.com. It is serious too he really did but this was 8-9 years ago. But the weird thing is the woman from the website kept calling on Nov 9th and my dad didnt get home until Nov 10th in the morning from a business trip. My mom thought it was a solicitor and kept saying alright i will have him call you back please stop calling. But the woman couldnt tell my mom because it was under my dads name. So when my dad got home on Nov 10th at around 8:30 in the morning the woman called and an hour later she called again (9:30am and my dad had just gotten home and took the call). She told him he won a million dollares.

Well at 9:30am on Nov 10th in the hospital the doctors declared my brothers death.

Re: Wow...

There are signs everywhere - you just need to recognize them. Your dad knew you would put those two times together and it was a sure fire way to get you to know he's with you...

When I was first starting out with my FH - he had a very severe alcohol problem. VERY SEVERE. I had been with him a month at this point and I was falling for him, but it was going to be a LOT to deal with...i was in my car, crying and praying for someone to help me. My grandmother (my dad's mom) was always crazy about me and me her. She passed away a very long time ago - but I still talk to her in my head, sometimes out loud.

Right before I got out of the car, I prayed - someone, somehow show me a sign that this is the man I'm supposed to be with...i don't know what to do. I get out of the car - go into the store, come back and get in my car. Before shutting the door to the car - I see a small ceramic pink rose. That was my grandmothers' favorite flower and is mine because of her. I know 100% for sure it wasn't there before... I took that as my sign and I knew then & there she wouldn't steer me wrong.

I have since lost that rose (i kept it on me forever and was heartbroken) - but i honestly think it was there only as long as I needed it..

It's been 5 years since that happened & I was right to stay - we got through his alcohol abuse and made us much stronger as a couple, as we now know we can face anything!!!

Okay - tearing up now a I type this - I remember it like it were yesterday....
