does anyone have ppl who question everything you do??? like y are both sets of parents coming when we book the RH? well it would be appropriate since both sets are contributing to the cost!!! 'um excuse, y do u care????'
sorry had to vent

Re: wow
That stinks... I have very few people asking because I try not to share with lots of people and invite questions... I get too nasty too quickly when people ask stupid questions!

Re: wow
I completely agree with you. I am having both sets of parents come because both sets have a right to be there. They are both contributing to this wedding and they should both have a say! People are SO rude and don't know when you BACK OFF sometimes.

Re: wow
i work in a school, and that sort of unsolicited advice is unavoidable, and not just with weddings but babies and house-buying, and every other major life decision!
it's like people think 'hey, i had a wedding' or 'i've BEEN to a wedding, so i must know what's best for you.'
gotta take it in stride.

Re: wow
I've been engaged less than a week but have already found that people really like to give their opinions when it comes to wedding planning. It's very irritating.

Re: wow
ugh i can't stand this woman at my job i was talkin to one of my bf and telling her how we were goin to look at a hall, and she was sitting in the break room, eating her own lunch and it wasn't OPEN conversation and she had the nerve to be like 'omg dont go there its so disgusting the food is awful the place sis so small.. blah blah blah' i was like omg i can't belive she would even say that to me
so then like a few days go by and shes like how did u like '''' and i was like it was really nice but not for us! iand she was like told ya so
and like no joke like every week she asks pick a place yet?

Re: wow
People keep asking me if we picked a place yet too and it's only been 5 days. I've decided not to tell anyone at work where I plan on looking b/c I don't want to hear what everyone has to say. No matter where it is, someone is bound to have something negative to say.

Re: wow
One BM was a bit annoyed I think when I told him both sets of our parents were coming to the tasting but I didnt care I needed opinions on the food and I wanted them to see what we were thinking about booking!
