yeah i would give it some more time. He could just be away or busy and hasnt checked.
In his defense, I've had several occasions (and maybe even more than I'm not aware of) where people's emails go to my SPAM box and I just never see them. I've actually started checking my spam from time to time now just to make sure there's nothing important in there . . . sometimes there is. Maybe this is what happened with him? I would be annoyed too though, if he's getting them it would be polite for him to at least reply!
