Wow a good start and bad ending today kinda long *updated

Well mom and i went to tricounty to look at veils. Well that solved my veil issue - just going to order the one at the bridal shop next week and hope they didn't raise the price because it was just as expensive as the ones I had tried on at barrons.

After tricounty we went to the sayville fea market because we figured to look at my flower girl dresses. I WAS FLOORED and how much wedding crap they had. Half the stuff i ordered online was there and the same price or cheaper.

Anyway this woman there had a ton of flower girl dresses that were amazing looking and i know for a fact at least $150.00 at a bridal shop (lace and ivory dress by US Angel or Angel) and they were half the price if not more there! We are going back in December or late November and getting the fg dress there and ordering a larger size and hopefully the fg won't grow too much.

My mom then was shouting at me OH MY GOD there are green ties here that match your green sashes. And their they were green ties that were just slightly off then my green swatch but pretty damn close for 2 for $10. I was so happy!!! We ordered them for all the guys so it was $30 oppose to $100 that we thought we had to pay to get matching ties. Now they are slightly off but being that hte girls are just wearing a sash and the guys just wearing the green tie I highly doubt anyone can tell since the green will not be on top of each other.

They also had wonderful pocketbooks, jewelry and just lots of stuff minus a good veil shop (still recommend tricounty}.

Off to my bad news - my bridal shop that moved from copaugie to now babylon changed names and that is fine with me - walked in to ask if they ever did get my ship date for my dress. Doesn't get shipped till DECEMBER 14th so it will not arrive till xmass week. I AM NOT HAPPY but what can i do? I figured my dress would be in sooner then that but for some reason they can't ship it out sooner. Oh well kinda disappointed.

UPDATE: Fh and I looked at the fabric swatch last night and we were like hold on this looks completely different now. It amazed me how much. So we went back today and cancelled the order. SO now i have to order the damn ties from the bridal store next month and spend $100 since I can't seem to find anywhere they has dessy collection Ties.

Sunrise HWY in Saville.. (across from Sunrise Mall) but i forget the exit.. its on the south side (east bound service lane). Its called the Attias Flea Market, although i think i spelled that wrong.

Well sounds like you had a successful day shopping. Sorry bout your dress though. But I think if it comes in around Christmas it should be ok, no? Unless theres a specific reason you want it in sooner, I'm sure you'll have time for fittings and stuff.

I am scared to get it in that late only because of the fact if something is wrong how do you correct the order and do my fittings with in two and half months. That and I still have no idea what hte jacket looks like which is frustrating to pick a veil out since I am not sure how it will look with the jacket.

I am sure everything would work out just sad that it isn't coming in sooner. Feel like people get their dresses in two weeks or a month and I got stuck with six months of waiting when i was told the dress would be in four months.

*update on the top about the ties
