I seem as if I'm dragging a bit, I guess it's really not that far away after all. Let ask though one thing about the dress. Wouldn't newer styles be coming out closer to our actual wedding dates? Or did you all find THE ONE already? That's probably the main thing that I'm worried about

I've already narrowed it down and will place the order in the next couple of mths. When I place the order I know it will be the 'one' and won't look around anymore after that. I'm also an organized nut so I would like to get it out of the way.

I'm not even going to start looking until the summer. I know me and I'm sure that I would change my mind if I looked too soon. As long as you give yourself 10 months, you should be fine.

im gonna start looking in June - for the one yr mark - im losing weight - so i dont want to look yet - and im looking online and in magazines to see the styles I like - then I'll go with what looks good on me .. and what hits me as 'the ONE'

Same here. Have not looked physically yet, only in magazines and on-line to get ideas. Probably waiting until the spring.

Ok I want to buy my dress in September (1 year before my wedding dat) and I didn't plan on looking until the summer. BUT!!! I received an email from Priscilla of Boston saying that their store in Roslyn was having a trunk show so I thought what the heck. Now when I 1st saw this one particular dress months ago I loved it. I showed it to my mom and she was like 'oh that dress is so plain' Well I tried it on and we were both crying!!! I didn't buy it because I do want to make sure. This was my 1st shopping experience so I want to take my time. I do think that that dress is THE ONE but I will still wait until September to order it. I don't want to give them too much time holding it for me.

I found the one this past weekend! But I saw it in a catalog months ago, I tried on some others, but this was the one when I tried it on for sure. I am going to stop looking, although I probably won't order it for a couple of months.

I would def. wait until a year before looking at dresses... newer styles might come out.
IMO anytime b4 a year is to early.

I ordered my dress last weekend. I looked at soooooooooo many dresses and I kept going back to the same one!!! If you find theone you'll know it. If you fall in love with one I would order it!!!!

i think you have to know yourself.....and def if your body is gonna change....but i know me and i know what i want!!! if i see it .....theres no point in looking further
