I don't think it is. There are guys out there that actually believe they can do crap like this as long as the rings haven't been exchanged.

Kind of like when you're filling out a form and the only options are 'Single', 'Married', 'Separated', etc. even though you've been with someone for god knows how many years. If you ain't married, you is SINGLE! Unfortunately there are a$$holes out there that apply this theory to their own relationships.
