Wow - I just got our menu emailed to me from our RH's Banquet Manager

It blows my mind the amount of typos in this thing! And he typed it in a Word document so how did he miss this??? It's a good thing I am retyping everything into my own menus! Check this out:

APPETIZER

Fresh Mozzarella and Beef Steak Tomatoe Duet
Accompanied by homemade marinated peppers, basil pesto sauce, and an herb crostini

ENTRÉE

Medallions of Filet Mignon with Port Wine Sauce
Sliced filet mignon bedded on a Port Wine sauce

Chicken Francese
Sauted Chicken Breast in a Lemon and Butter reduction sauce

Brioled Norwegian Salmon
Accompanied with cream dill sauce

Roasted Duck a l’Orange
Crispy Duck topped in a Grand a l’Orange sauce

-All Entrees comes with Dutchess Potato and String bean Almondine.-

DESERT

Wedding cake
Marble and Raspberry with all white whip cream
Ice Cream Éclair
Éclair shell stuffed with vanilla ice cream, topped with Belgium chocolate and fresh whip cream
Coffee Decaf Tea

I understand all of our typos here on the boards but this is a professional sending a doc. out to a client - spell check only takes a moment.

It's a good thing you are doing your menus yourself! Imagine if he did them and your guests saw all his mistakes?

i'm sure i missed some, but didnt he notice the words were underlined in word as misspelled?? well maybe not desert, but def the other words.

And you'd think he could just cut and paste that from one client to the next... get it right the first time and be done.

Do you girls think I should email him back and let him know about the typos? Not in a mean way, mind you, but just so he doesn't keep looking silly when he sends this out?
