Wow its official - I have used EVERYTHING I received and more!

My parents are extending their house (so stupid to do when your retired but oh well) so dh and i got the china closet and table which is about 50 years old and I LOVE!) in the apartment now.

Anyway,
Yesterday was the first time I used my stand mixer that I had received as a gift from the wedding. So this makes the last and final item to be used from my shower/wedding. Felt pretty cool! Made 36 scones for a bake sale at college to benefit the children of apalachia. I am never putting this thing away - I LOVE IT!

I also found out how the hell to get rid of food residue and stains on my All-Clad Stainless Steel pots and pans - 'Bar Keepers Friend' I am going to buy a JUG of this next time i see it. Makes the shine come back and really helps if you over heated your pans and have this reddish tint on the bottom of them.

Also the greatest thing that I wasn't sure if i would use was my Le Creuset pot. I wish I got another one maybe a 12qt. I use this at least once a week and its such a easy item to clean up after its been on the stove top then in the oven. So for you girls who haven't had a shower yet deff. put it on there!

Yay! Congrats on using it all! I found out about bar keepers friend at work and I swear by it. Also love Le Creuset- we just used our panini press for the first time last night and it's awesome. My mom has my kitchen aid but I can't wait 'til we get it back so I can steal it back. Glad to hear that you use and love the stuff you registered for!

I am definitely showing DH your thread!!! I'm still campaigning for my KitchenAid Artisian Mixer!! Where can I get bar keepers friend?? I used a baking tray and didn't rinse if off and now it has a stain that is driving me mad, I was tempted to get a new one but would like to try bar keepers friend first.
Oh and I def know how exciting it is to use a registry item!!! I used my deep fryer to make empanadas for the first time last week, I cut myself putting it together, but it was still exciting!! My next item up for use is the waffle maker!!!

for the baking tray use regular oven cleaner - did this a while ago with my old sheets (just make sure it doesn't have toxic fumes otherwise go outside with it) Bar keepers friend we found at Shoprite and stop n shop and i think BBB has it. Look down the cleaner aisle where they have all the polish stuff.
