So today is my FH's 25th birthday and we have plans to go out to dinner with his whole family and then come back to our apartment for cake and ice cream and presents and his sister is arguing with me over the fact that she needs to be done with everything before 9pm so she can get back to watch the season finale of One Tree Hill. So I said to her that I think that is very wrong that she would skip out on her brother's cake and presents to watch a TV SHOW! I told her to just tape it. And she is telling me no that she has no means to tape it! UMMM YOUR FAMILY HAS LIKE 4 VCRS!! Go buy a VHS tape for like $2 and tape it. She said to me 'Whatever I am leaving at 9, 9 is late enough for old people to celebrate anyway' I guess she is referring to her parents.....WOW is all I can say....she is so selfish!!!!!!!!! I feel so bad for him he is going to be so upset

That is so funny you say that. She is actually 21 with the mentality of a 14 year old girl. All that matters to her is what she wants to do and what makes her happy! UNBELIEVABLE! Sometimes I seriously regret asking her to be my bridesmaid. I am sure she will be a very selfish bridesmaid in addition to being a selfish sister to FH. She is already complaining about everything she has to pay for for our wedding! GRRRRRRRR

is she younger? it sounds really immature and self-centered. i will say that i put a 9pm time limit on my own birthday celebration last night bc it was a sunday and i didn't want to be tired today, but not for a tv show
