I spoke to my grandmother in Puerto Rico today. She's the last grandparent I have left. And even though she is sick, and can't walk for long periods of time, she told me that she is trying to find a way to make it to the wedding.
The reason this is more of a shock to me, is because she didn't make it to any of the weddings of my brothers or my cousin because she was sick. While I realize the reality is that she probably won't come, the fact that she even said that she was trying to come brought tears to my eyes.
And wow, things are finally falling into place after months of BS. It's almost amazing to see.

That is great news!! It is truly funny how some people will surprise you when it comes to the wedding!!! I have had a similiar experience & it truly touched my heart!!!

That just brought tears to my eyes. I lost my grandma in PR a few years ago so I can appreciate your sentiment on her wanting to come even though she is not well. I hope she can make it. But remember she'll be there no matter what in your heart.
I'm so happy things are finally looking up for you. You really deserve it. We'll def. have to have a few drinks in Mexico!!!
