Wow, this is my firs time and I am looking for an inexpensive ceremony and reception location
Hi ladies. I am usually on the Knot but then I heard about this and I thiught to give it a try. Well, I am looking for a place for the day after Christmas to hold my ceremony and reception that isn't too far from NYC. I want to have it in the late morning or early afternoon. Are there any inexpensive places around $60 pp for an afternnon opn a Sunday in Nassau?

Yes...
CHeck with Verdi's of Westbury....very...very beautiful place , that has great prices. I believe it is around Old Country Road...Not to far from Roosevelt field Mall or the Source Mall.
Good Luck

Huntington Townhouse - i THINK is on the border of suffolk and nassau - they could work with out. Also Coral House (Disclaimer, I don't know ANYTHING about LI geography)

Welcome aboard. Stewart Manor Country Club might be close to that. They are not too far from the city.

For the day after Christmas you will not find any place more beautiful than the Milleridge. Not sure how many people you're having (that would determine Carriage House or Cottage) but that is the perfect Christmas place. They'd be at least around your price range if not right on - definitely check them out!
