so my boss pulled me aside this morning (we're in the jewelry industry) and gave me a diamond this morning...he said he had sent the mounting (ring) to be adjusted but it was returned by mistake...so he just gave me the stone. [this is my wedding gift] assuming it's real (heehee) it's a half carat round cut. what am i going to do with that???
i have a pendant with diamonds..maybe i can have those put in a ring with this.... i'll have to think about this!!

well, you could have a necklace made out of it (the one stone in the center set in platinum or white gold-- i'm sure you have seen that type of necklace around) or you could use it with your other diamonds from your necklace and have a nice ring made out of it... or you could sell it to a jewelry exchange place and get some money for it but i would rather have something made out of it personally.. it's up to you. take whate you have and your ideas to a good jeweler and see what they say!! nice gift, good for you!!!

What a great boss! I say have a pendant made for yourself, maybe one that you would wear everyday..I have one and I practically never take it off.
