WOWWW.. I FINALLY TRIED MY DRESS ON LASTNIGHT AND...

I LOOKED ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS..BUT WITH THE DRESS HAVING SUCH A LONG AND WIDE TRAIN WITH SO MUCH DETAIL .. I FEEL LIKE I SHOULD BE GOING BACK TO DAVIDS FOR THE BUSTLE AND OTHER ALTERATIONS..BUT WE ALL KNOW HOW I HATE DAVIDS BRIDAL..BUT SHOULD I TRUST ANY ONE ELSE???? HELP :scratch

I would find a reputable seamstress that maybe specializes in wedding dresses...sorry don't have anyone to recommend.

I was having the same dilema! Got my dress at David's, they screwed up and order the wrong veil 2x! I checked w/ a bridal shop on bustle prices and one said $125 up. I was in David's last week and they're charging $35. So, I'm going back there w/ my tail between my legs to save $90 or so!

I got my dress from davids in feb, have had it since march... i took it to bridal elegance (aka phyllis) this saturday ... she is amazing! great prices too even though i didnt get my gown from them...
totally check her out!

Fantasia Bridals in Rocky Point will do alterations, even if you got your dress from somewhere else.

I second Phyllis. I did the same thing with my DB wedding down.

My vote also is for Phyllis. I did get my dress through her, but I have to say she is doing a fantastic job on my alterations. I am going tomorrow to try on my dress for the last time before the wedding and pick it up, but she has done sure a great job so far!!! She also did the work on my BM's dresses, and they are all very happy. Good Luck!
