Guess what guys? I called my old parish to see if I could meet the priest etc etc
I dont know if I did it to kill the last 20 mins at work or what have you but I actually CALLED THE CHURCH! The priest was telling me though i need permission from my new parish to get married at the old church...jeez. I was like whaaa?? But whatever, I took a SMALL step! yippee! now if only I could......
1-book a RH 2-dj limos photogs 3-buy a dress 4-get my lists in order 5-Last but certainly not least, Get some money for all this hehehe
oh momma. its gonna be a tough road....

heheh yeah and i said 'well my friend has been out of the parish for 10 years and she never told me the priest told her to get a permission letter....' he goes WELL YOU'RE TALKING TO THE PRIEST

I think I have my mind set on this one place near me. It holds enough people that we initially had planned to invite. And the price is exactly half of what we had to pay at the other place!
they told me 80pp INCLUDES taxes and all the other stuff, open bar, cake, cocktail hour, PLUS they can have it on our date-which was a saturday night in Oct.
And they only have one event at a time! Im leaning towards it.
