I want to download a 30 day trial of Photoshop so I can play around with my wedding photos. I can download either Photoshop Elements and Photoshop CS2. My question is: what's the difference?

Re: WR: Photoshop Users
From what i know.. Elements is just a photo editing version of photoshop, Whereas CS2 is the complete Photoshop application package that will integrate with Indesign and Illustrator (the other adobe applications)
Hope that helps

Re: WR: Photoshop Users
the above post is almost correct...
Elements is a scaled down, easy to use version of Photoshop. Photoshop has a million tools where Elements will make a novice computer user feel like a pro.
CS2 is a suite of products like Microsoft Office has Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc... So it means suite and verison. CS3 will be out soon which is an extension of CS2 adding more tools and tricks
oh, and another big difference is $$$

Re: WR: Photoshop Users
Thanks for the info! So, Elements sounds like it would probably be the better choice for someone like me who's never used Photoshop before. Thanks for the tips!
