So, I have this one woman that I work with. On three seperate occasions she has made comments to me!! Today was the last straw though.
Ok, a couple months ago, I guess she got me a shower gift off my registry. She told me she got me a gift. Then goes ahead and the next words out of her mouth were:
'Did you actually look at everything you registered for?'
***?! I understand people might not love everything someone registers for, but HELLO don't say it to their FACE! My mother didn't even do that to me.
Then today, I am showing some pictures of my hair and makeup trial to my boss (who is the BEST!) and she wants to look too. I was saying how pleased I was with the hair and makeup, my boss was saying she thought I looked beautiful. All very nice.
Til this OTHER ONE, goes: 'I can't really tell from the picture, but I don't think I love it. to be honest with you.'
I wanted to jump across the desk and strangle her.
Don't get me wrong ladies, I am not fishing for compliments, but COME ON!! Don't say these things to my face!!!
Am I wrong?!

You're not wrong at all. I worked with a woman who sounds like she came from the same planet at this woman you are talking about. In her case, it was very much jealousy over someone else getting any kind of attention. As difficult as it may be, try to let it go in one ear and out the other. Sometimes prayers are answered because my problem quit one month ago. Life at work has been wonderful ever since! I hope and pray the same for you. Hang in there!!!
