This couple was suing their wedding photographer because NONE of their wedding photos came out.
During the wedding, guests were telling the bride that the photographer was fighting with her assistant in the bathroom (the assistant was the photographer's daugher)
While testifying, the photographer said she felt 'Jacked' because when booking her, the couple said that they didn't have a lot of $, and only paid $150 for shooting only- no prints, no developing.
BUT, the photographer got angry when she was at the wedding because it was an 'expensive' wedding, so the couple must have lied.
When the judge asked the photographer why BOTH cameras failed to work, the photographer said that it must have been karma and that this couple WAS NOT MEANT TO GET MARRIED!
(the photographer kept complaining about how she was going to use the photos in her portfolio and that's why she's sad that none of them came out. The judge gave the couple their $150 back plus $1,000 for a new photo shoot with some other photographer)

Re: WR: Who just saw The People's Court?
Alright I'll probably get a beating for this one but I think the couple was asking for it with that request. Professionalism or not, $150 is not enough for a photographer. They are lucky to have gotten that money back plus the extra grand for a different shoot.

true, but this was in Nevada.
Also, the photographer was making it pretty clear that she was mad about 'the expensive wedding' and messed up the photos on purpose.

Oh Ok, you will have to excuse me, I am so out of it today. Unfortunately, I had to take a muscle relaxer and it turns out the only thing it is relaxing is my brain. I did not get all that from your initial post.
Shame on that photographer.

Re: WR: Who just saw The People's Court?
i saw that! the photographer SOOOO did it on purpose. if she didn't want to shoot the wedding for $150 - she should have never agreed to it!! she made them sign a contract that said that she could use all of their pictures for her portfolio...so that it wasn't a complete loss for her...i think that seemed fair.....

the couple won - they got their money back, plus an additional $1000 to redo their pictures!

Feel better. I know all about the MR's.
I was watching Judge Judy.
That's so wrong of that photographer. Even if $150 is low, that's what was agreed upon. If they thought it was low, they shouldn't have agreed to it. $1000 isn't even enough because they can't get back their wedding day!

Re: WR: Who just saw The People's Court?
the judge was so angry with the photographer...she figured $1000 would be enough for them to find a different photographer to take some posed pictures of the bride and groom in their wedding clothes again....with some family members also.
