Wrap / Shawl

My gown is almost ready, now I only need a taffeta shawl.
Unfortunately the store I bought my gown from wants to charge me $300 for a shawl, and I am pretty sure that doesn't include the fabric.

Can you recommend a seamstress in Manhattan that would charge me less to a nice taffeta shawl?

Hope someone can help me as I am gonna wear that shawl for maybe not even 30 minutes!!!
I would have used a pashmina but it doesn't really go with my dress ,,,,,, maybe I should reconsider .....

is your dress taffeta too? can you buy the same fabric from the same designer as your dress and then get it made elsewhere? maybe they would charge you less if you provide the fabric. a shawl shouldn't be too much to make?
