So now that it's getting closer to our wedding..(less than 5 weeks..omg..lol) i realize it's been getting more and more chilly out, and i get cold very easily.. this morning i was freezing until it got a little warmer later on.. ( i know.. im a wimp..lol) so i was thinking maybe i should get a wrap or something to go over my dress in between outdoor pics and stuff..
not sure what i want though... and i don't know wat would look best with my dress..??
this is something my mom sent me.. and a pic of my dress... wat do you think? would this work .. or would i look horrible?? should i maybe just go with a wrap or cape type thing?? i just want something to warm my exposed areas..lol TIA

personally i think the one in the pic is too overpowering... I think that you should go with something more sleek

my dress isn't all in white.. it's ivory/cafe sash/silver bottom (which is basically white) .. but i figure i wont be wearing it long enough for anyone to care much or notice.. i basically just don't wanna freeze..lol.

i saw that one as well and i really like it.. i just wasn't sure if the short sleeve would be warm enough for me.. but it may work just fine... i know by the end of the night if i go outside i wont care and i'll probably just be in FHs tux jacket.. ha ha ha... but i figure there will probably be some photos of me in it so i should look decent at least..lol. thank you!!

the one i posted was on ebay.. they have that one and others for like 49.00 as opposed to the more expensive one's i've seen. you could always give that a try if you really wanted to

Re: Wrap to keep me warm in my dress????
here is one that is similar but no as bulky... wrap 2
i cant' seem to decide!!... i just know i tend to have trouble with my arms too.. i lose weight everywhere but there .. and i'm afraid that just a regular wrap rather than a jacket style may .. or something with too short of a sleeve.. will either A. be too tight and not fit right.. or just not look good... choices..choices..lol

honestly go with something that will kinda keep you warm but not that its like OMG look at that jacket. I was lucky to get a jacket made of the materials of my dress and it was warm enough for me.
My bm's used their jackets in between shots so i would have a nice warm jacket available.

Re: Wrap to keep me warm in my dress????
I got a real vintage fox fur stole off ebay for $100. It's not white though, it's a light beige/brown. But that way, I could wear it after the wedding to other formal events in the winter. it was about 40 degrees the day I got married and it kept me warm during my outdoor shots!

I think the long sleeved fur ones are too much imo. I would do a shawl/stole thing that doesn't take over with too much fur. It's in Nov too so I don't think you'll have a prob w/it being too cold. You could do long sexy gloves for your arms too just a thought...

I agree. I think the fur is a little much since your dress is not plain. I think a simple wrap if you feel you need something. I am hoping it is on the cooler side just so I wont sweat in my dress!!!
