Writing about what you read...

Writing about what you read...

Does anyone write reviews of books theyve read (on amazon for instance?)
Maybe because I love writing, I really enjoy writing the review more than reading the book sometimes.

Another question. Does anyone write about their thoughts and feelings on a book right after theyve read it? How far back can you actually rmember characters, titles, authors, etc ?? I really cant remember details of books from years ago. Ive been debating keeping my own little reading journal.. Its so fulfilling to write....

Is it just me ?

I have a tendency to forget a few weeks after I've read a book. Happens with movies too.... I don't know if I don't pay attention enough to remember or what. A reading journal is a nice idea....

I've never done that, but I think it's a great idea.

I read so many books, so quickly that I often can't remember a book's specifics a few months down the line.

I tend to read a lot of books by the same author that use the same main character so I get the books mixed up a lot. I don't know how many times I bought the same book more then once.

I like the idea of a reading journal. I might try that.

That's a great idea. I always get confussed with details a few months after I read a book.

Just yesterday I was thinking about keeping a list of the books I've read. Even if it's just a list of the titles, authors and when I read them. I think it might be cool to be able to look back in 10 years and see how much I've read. It would also be a GREAT 'Must Read' list for others.

I just don't know how far back I'll be able to remember to start the list.
