Our priest asked me and FH to write essays on why we decided to marry each other, and he is going to read them verbatim for the homily! It's a lot of pressure!

who are you using? Mine asked us to do the same thing. From now until your wedding you should write down little sweet things that FH does to show you he loves you & how you feel when you're with him.
I just saw that your wedding date is 3/25... so you should probably sit down today & think about what you've been through together & what your plans are for your future together. good luck

We're getting married at St. Thomas in West Hempstead. Thanks for the advice, I'm panicking just a bit.

Then we do have the same priest.. Msgr J.L? Good luck & can't wait to hear about your ceremony. I hear he gives a beautiful service.

Yes, same priest. I heard the same, but this essay is a lot of work. My advice, start now!
