writing names on place cards

How do I write my guests' names on the place cards for married couples?
for non-married couples?
for individuals?

I used the same format as the invitation

I don't think there's a set format for this except using the same honorific (e.g., Ms., Mr., Mrs., etc.) that you had on your invitations. Depending on the size of your cards, you may not have enough room to group all the 'inner envelope' names on one card.

For non married couples, Mr. first and his last name and Ms. first and her last name (if you know one the people and the other one is the significant other who you know but met through your friend, then you might want to put your friend's name first regardless that it would turn out to be female first and then male.)

For a friend and a guest you dont know, just Mr or Ms. and then guest.

Individuals, as suggested.

And for married couples, this one I'd also like to know...is it Mr. and Mrs. LAST NAME or Mr. and MRs. First Name, last name???

on the place cards, I am just going to do the same thing I did on the invitations.

I did a search and came up with these:
What you write on the place card: In the formal approach, the name is written: Mr. Jones, if there are two Mr. Jones at the table than the first name is used, i.e. Mr. Mark Jones. In an informal approach you can use either Mark Jones or Mark. The last name would be required if there are more than one of that name at the table. The important issue is to be consistent.

hope that helps
