Writing Out My Place Cards... question UPDATE! I am DONE!
I am using the cards that are provided by WCC and the cards are ivory with a maroon W and the little
M _________________ Table No. ___________
is also in maroon. Can I write the names in black or will that look bad? Does Staples carry maroon gel pens?
UPDATE: All finished in black ink... looks pretty good and that took literally ALL day!

I think your fine with either choice. As a bride I obsess over matching everything, but in the scheme of things I dont think your guests will notice. But if you have to buy a black pen for the situation anyway, then I'd dish out the few extra cents and get the maroon. Wait, I was no help was I?

I think they sell art pens in every color but again, I think the black will be fine.

I think I saw colored pens/markers in Michaels. Try them.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say, I think the black would look better than a mismatching maroon. But, what do I know?! AND if the maroon matches...then, you're obviously golden!

Do it in black - its easier to read and the guests wont even notice that its not in maroon!

I went to a wedding last weekend at WCC and the bride also used the WCC place cards. Our names were written in black ink and I did not think anything of it not matching until I just read this post!

AWSOME!!! ( and im not just saying that b/c it was a LIW girls wedding!!!)
Dinner was REALLY REALLY good. I am a very picky eater when it comes to 'catering hall' food. and I ate every drop!!! DH was really impressed with how many entree choices we had!!
The waiters were really really nice and all around great service!!!
