Writing you own vows

Is anyone writing their own vows? Is there a formatt to it??

Len and I are definitely writing our own vows. We are following NO format, just going for it. But then again, we will also recite the traditional ones too. The Pastor said it was OK to do both.

We wrote our own-- actually my husband wrote most of them-- it took a few nights doing it together and it was one of my favorite moments of the day!!!
The best was we didnt tell anyone--so during the mass my SIL asked my cousin(who was involved with every step of the planning) and my cousin said No they didnt write them--they must have just chosen ones we have never heard!!I laughed when I heard that!!!

I give you all a lot of credit!! I don't think I'd be able to do that, well at least my FH won't be able to. He's nervous in front of large groups of people. The family is actually placing bets on whether he'll pass out or I will!
