did any of you do this? what are your takes on this? FH is REEEALLY shy so i would never in a million years ask him to do this, but i was thinking maybe i'd like to say a little something to him at the wedding and dedicate a song to him.

I asked Fh if he wanted to do this-he said no. He gets shy talking in front of a lot of people-so I would never ask him to do anything he didn't want to do. You could definetly say something and dedicate a song to him-I think that would be very sweet.

we are taking traditional vows and modifying them a little to match our taste a little more...so we're not writting new ones just personalizing it

We're doing the same - I really want the traditional vows, but we just added things here and took things away there, and then I wrote him a poem that I'll read.
