Are you ladies writing your own vows? I am not getting married to 9/5 but I actually wrote them on my BB during my commute home... I started to cry and had to stop before people began to think I was having some sort of melt down

Yes....we will be writing a part of our own vows... I have a feeling FH will do it the day or two before LOL...but I already have a million in mind. HA. We'll see which one I pick...and hopefully I am abel to get all the words out! LOL

i would have wanted to but fh wanted to do the traditional..im going to cry like a baby no matter what i read or write or say all going to be a blubbering mess

I really wanted to but ultimately I think my way with words is not what id like, lol. I plan on reading something to FH....written by someone infinitely more eloquent over the ages :)

We wrote our own and it was so very special. We weren't reciting someone elses vows, we were speaking to each other from the heart. We were both nervous but it was so romantic. I'll remember that moment for the rest of my life. I still get chills when I watch the video.

We are writing our own. .. .wanted our whole ceremony to be very unique to us. . . NO idea what I'm going to say yet but that should still be okay. . still time.. FH said he already started writing them. ..

There are no vows in our ceremony, but if we had a Catholic ceremony in addition, we wouldn't have wrote them. I don't like to show public schmaltziness, and FH doesn't like to plan anything, so...
