its xmas eve but it felt like halloween just now...i think we have a ghost in our house.
every night FH and i hear this noise, at least once every 20 mins. it sounds like a cabinet door is being slammed shut in the kitchen. we've tried to investigate but when we go down there the noise stops. so we decided we have a ghost.
just now FH was bringing laundry up the stairs. i hear a noise and he yells 'w t f ??'. he comes up and sees me at the computer and gets white in his face. he asks me if i threw a candle at him, i say no i was sitting here at the computer. in the hall at the top of the stairs we have candles on a little shelf. one of the candles came flying at him while he came up. he said it was like someone threw it at him hard. it hit him in the leg. there is no way it could have fell off at that angle and hit him that hard.
i think it was it was the ghost.

wow that is freaky. i have heard in books and on tv shows that the holidays sometimes 'stir' up strange things.
maybe you should contact someone from your church. i know they will come out and give your home a blessing. maybe that would help! take care

I was gonna say maybe its a family member around for the holidays, but if you dont think so, then tell it to go away and its not welcome.
idk- they always do that on tv and it works..lol
the cabinet door slam thing could be the stove vent thingy slamming from the wind, but the candle is very strange.

OMG..you could call Rescue Psychics. This was on WE last night and it's these 2 Canadian sisters go to your house and help the spirits 'pass on.'
you should get a video camera or tape recorder, hit record and pretend you are talking to it. Then play it back and see if you hear or see anything. (I watch the show Ghost Hunters on the SciFi channel)

WOW I totally believe in ghosts and stuff too! That is pretty freaky though. I wonder why the ghost would throw candles at FH? LOL.

The idea of ghosts just scares the sh1t out of me for some reason. Your story gave me the worst goosebumps!!! OMG! You're so brave for staying there because I would make DH pack us up and we'd move out the next day...thats how scared I am!
