WW BREAKFAST QUESTIONS PLEASE HELP !!!!

I am on weight watchers and I can never think of something different that’s low points for breakfast, I usually have a nutragrain bar for 3 pionts, but then at my meeting yesterday they mentioned you need to have protein in the morning in order to start burning fat. I used to east Lean Pockets breakfast pockets, they are only 3 pionts and have eggs, bacon and cheese, or sausage with cheese, they are really yummy, they have lots of protein in them but I cant see loosing weight if I eat on of those every morning, how many points is 1 scrambled egg or omlet? Does anyone have any ideas for me?

Re: WW BREAKFAST QUESTIONS PLEASE HELP !!!!

breakfast is a hard one for me too because I am always eating it on the run. Those lean pockets sound good! I believe one egg is equal to one point and so is one ounce of hard cheese. But I dont have my book with me. How about 1/2 an english muffin or bagel toasted with some cottage cheese?

Re: WW BREAKFAST QUESTIONS PLEASE HELP !!!!

I either eat yogurt and granola (6 points) or LF waffles and light syrup (5 points) or a WW egg sandwich (4 points) or english muffin, 2% cheese and a slice a bacon (4 points). I like a variety of breakfasts obviously!

Re: WW BREAKFAST QUESTIONS PLEASE HELP !!!!

I think you will be fine eating those for breakfast- as long as you stay within your points range. They are really good! The other girls made great suggestions as well. Egg whites and turkey breast are always a good option for breakfast too plain or with salsa - you can even put it on something low in points like light toast, lowfat pita or wrap . . . If you search the web for Weight Watcher Recipes, there are many websites out ther that may offer suggestions . . .

Re: WW BREAKFAST QUESTIONS PLEASE HELP !!!!

WW eggs florentine

WW Eggs Benedict

WW Fruit and Ricotta Parfait WW Sausage Omlet

WW Herbed Biscuits

It seems as if you eat on the go or at work. I used to as well but now I bring in the stuff and make it at work. For example for the eggs benedict or florentine, I bought Egg Beaters measured out in a small tupperware bowl (that carries up to 1 cup liquid or more) and I microwave it right in the tupperware (top off) to cook it, I pop the english muffin in a toaster (can also put it in microwave to heat up but wrap it in paper towel first or muffin gets hard and rubbery) and heat up bacon (you can cook it night before and just heat up at work) and heat up sauce. OK so it takes 10 mins or so but at least it's variety....if you cannot see the links FM me, it's from etools and you might have to be a subscriber to access.

Re: WW BREAKFAST QUESTIONS PLEASE HELP !!!!

I think 1 fried egg is 2 points...

but I would try to stick with natural ingredients...

do PB..eggs...LF cottage cheese...yogurt...rather than gettign your protein from processed foods...

also think about protein shakes...

Re: WW BREAKFAST QUESTIONS PLEASE HELP !!!!

I definately think that 2 or 3 egg whites on whole wheat toast w/ tomato or Ketchup is REALLY GOOD. and filling. So you have your carb and your protien.. Low in points.. Its 0 or 1 point for egg whites and like 2 points for 2 pieces of low fat, high fiber, whole wheat bread
