WW Core Plan ?

Hi ladies

okay i have forever been doing points- about 4 years - lost 20 lbs two years ago and been maintaining for the past two years - i think i am in a rut and want to try core.

i have most of the information about core from when i unsuccessfully joined about a year ago..i need some clarification. It looks like the only thing that is limited is 2 teaspoons oil and 1 whole grain/potato thing a day - everything else on the list is unlimited? i am a vegetarian - it looks like i can eat veggie burgers unlimited? (as long as i am hungry ;o) )

and from what i understand - in addition to this - i get 35 extra points within the week?

Thanks!

Re: WW Core Plan ?

You can eat as much as you want of the meat and veggies that they recommend but the carbs that are allowed on core are limited to one meal a day and if it's a cereal it has to be eaten with non fat milk. So it seems like you can have a veggie burger on a whole wheat bun once a day.

ETA: And yes you do get an additional 35 points a week to use on whatever you want. You can also switch between core and flex, but whichever you choose you have to do for a week before you can switch.

umm.. i'd rather have whole wheat pasta for dinner ... so what can i eat for lunch? just salad? or i guess i can use those 35 points for ww bread - 1 point a day right?

Soup is great on core as long as it has the core foods in it. It's filling and there's lots of variety. Vegetarian Minestrone is really good, just leave out the pasta.
