I know it sounds crazy....but I have made two cakes already and they both turned out really yummy. For points on WW, you just measure the cake mix. Most cake mixes are 4 points for 1/12 of the cake....Which is a nice size slice. You cannot use frosting but you can use Cool Whip free for a topping. It has '0' points.
Here are two recipes that I have tried already: Dunkin Hines Choclate Cake mix 10 ounces Diet Decaf Pepsi (0) points 2 Egg Whites (0) points 2 Table Spoons AppleSauce
Mix really well....and then go by the directions on the back of the cake mix. You may have to bake the cake for a little longer than whats on the box....It all depends on how well it is done after the time is up according tot he box directions. The same goes for the cake below.
Dunkin Hines White Cake mix 10 ounces of Diet Sierra Mist (0) points 2 Egg Whites (0) points 2 Table Spoons AppleSauce Mix really well....and then go by the directions on the back of the cake mix.
Top with Fat Free Coolwhip....when you serve it and enjoy.

Re: WW Diet Soda Cake
that is interesting? why the soda?
I have been using cake mix for years and instead for every whole egg, substitute 2 egg whites. Mix really well and cook, no added oil. People love how light it tastes.

You can make these with just a can of diet soda and the cake mix and it comes out just as well. Same consistency of batter and really light cupcakes, really good!

I bet diet 7-up would be good too. I remember loving 7-Up cakes as a kid.
