I am thinking of starting tonight and I am going to a 7 pm meeting in west babylon but wanted to know how much the books were. I have out dated books (now i found out they are 10 years old) so I would need new ones.

Everything that you really need is all included in the cost of your registration - your pointsfinder and the 'getting started' booklet with the foods list and point values.

You can also get the dining out companion and the big points book - it comes in a little black bag.
That was between $20 and $30, I can't remember exactly - butit's really helpful!
Another option is to get the book of food counts it lists tons of food and you can use your slider to get the points. I use this book all the time!
