WW girls, I am Trying a new approach . . .Atkins folks, I may need help . . .

I am a WW lifetimer trying to shed some gained back pounds and then some. I am cutting it close so I am going to try to lose some quick weight with Atkins. Hopefully I will lose a decent amount of weight- I would be happy with even 5 pounds . . . Just to jump start. Then I will maintain with WW again.

Those that have done atkins, what did you lose the first one to two weeks during induction?

Any breakfast ideas for work?

TIA!

I did Atkins back in November and I lost 13 pounds in my first 2 weeks during induction.

Induction is very hard, but if you follow it to a T, you will see results.

I usually ate 2 egg whites with turkey or 2 hard boiled eggs with sausage.

if you go onto the atkins website, there is a list on the foods to eat during induction, it is really good to follow.

if you have any qustions or need support, just let me know.

hope this helped.

I lost about 11 lbs the first week. I usually ate eggs and bacon for breakfast.

I am surprised that you can eat Bacon on induction since it is cured in Sugar and it contains nitrates. How come, I did induction and I only lost like 3 pounds the first week and 2 pounds the second week? Did you excersize those first 2 weeks? I didnt, so maybe that was why.

on south beach, you can't have regular bacon - just turkey bacon. maybe that's why... definitely wasn't working out then.
