OK so today was my 2nd weight in...Im doing the online version, no meetings
I lost 2 lbs week one and NOTHING today!
Last week, I def felt like I ate more.
I use all my daily points- and only 6 of my weekly points.
Do I need to eat more? less?
I'm so disappointed!

Re: WW girls...I need some advice
I think that you lose a lot at first because you're body isn't used to it. Just stay with it, you'll be fine. Don't get discouraged. Maybe try eating more...even if it's another piece of fruit or a yogurt each day.

Re: WW girls...I need some advice
Don't be disappointed. I was just looking at my WW stuff last night and realized that in my first week, I lost like 3.4 pounds and every week after that was either no loss (but no gain), or a smaller loss (anywhere from .2 pounds to 1.6 pounds).
It takes time - it really is a shock to your system and if you work the program, the program will work for you.
Are you getting in all of their recommended categories? (ie., fruits and veggies, dairy, water, multivitamin, activity, etc.) Did you eat something high in sodium yesterday that might've caused you to retain water today?
While you may not see a difference in the numbers this week, I bet you feel healthier and your clothes fit a little better.
Keep it up - you'll get to your goal! Remember, losing weight at a slower pace usually means that you keep it off long-term!

Re: WW girls...I need some advice
im eating pretty balanced, I think.
I read somewhere, maybe WW chat--- that some ppl need to eat all their points and their flex points to lose weight...
I just feel like that is just toooo much!
I am going to keep at it, I paid for 3 months...and FH needs the support...
thanks girls

Re: WW girls...I need some advice
You should stick with it, exactly how you have been. It is too early to start worrying about eating more or less. When I was on ww, I lost EXACTLY 3.6 lbs, then 1.2 lbs, then 3.6 lbs, then 1.2 lbs for about three months! It was bizzare! But once I realized the pattern my body was in, it was great weighing in on the weeks when I knew there would be a big loss! Just stick with it.

Re: WW girls...I need some advice
Its normal to have weeks when you stay the same. Its also normal to have weeks when you even gain weight. The important thing is to stick with it. And yes, there are some people who only lose weight if they eat all of their daily points, weekly points, and activity points. there are others who can only lose when they don't touch their weeklies. Play around for a few weeks and see what works best for you. Also, make sure you're being honest with yourself about portion sizes. FM me if you have any more questions.

Re: WW girls...I need some advice
also it might be what you are eating......stay away from the snack packs and IMO the WW bars and stuff arent good either.
I found if I cooked and bought fruit and veggies...I lost weight every week by staying away from processed food.

Re: WW girls...I need some advice
omg thats my identical ww story!
I've lost 84 lbs on ww, but when I first started, I did kickass the 1st week and NOTHING the 2nd week. I went into the bathroom and cried. The next week, I had a nice weight loss.
You;ll be fine :)

Re: WW girls...I need some advice
I NEVER eat all my points. I usually leave out like 10 or so a day cuz i am just not hungry, but I drink at least 4 bottles of water and I exercise daily.
My weight is coming off slowly, like today i was weighed and I only lost 0.8lbs but I rather that then to gain weight!

Re: WW girls...I need some advice
I totally agree. I tend to do well when I have fruits & veggies as my snacks rather than 100 calorie packs (those 100 calorie packs never seem to fill me up anyway lol)
I do like the WW snacks as an after dinner snack though. My mom always has the WW cakes or brownies- I find that if I have one about an hour after dinner it satisfies me and I'm not craving snacks all night long. However, I can never get the WW snacks for my apt b/c FH eats about 4 or 5 at a time (when there's about 6 in the box).... and then he gets mad at me for keeping so much 'junk' food in the apt

Eat your points and chances are the weight will come off faster. You really shouldn't have points left over at the end of the night.......ESPECIALLY on a regular basis.

Re: WW girls...I need some advice
As someone who has gone through stages, weighing herself weekly at times, daily at other times, while in the process of losing weight, trying to maintain, and unfortunately- my recent gain...I will tell you that you absolutely must keep up what you are doing and give it some time....
I recently reached out to people on here about joining WW...I ended up doing it online instead...Before dieting at all (just kinda making some smarter choices) I lost 20 pounds going to Curves ...then my weight fluctuated as I dated a certain guy who ate lots of Italian food, etc. (lol) and life changes effected my diet and exercise...my weight has ranged between 109 and 130 over the past few years. What I've learned is that you definitely have to stay on top of it and check it (weekly is probably best)...you need to learn what's best for you. I think WW is best for me, as well as many other women..it's something that's do-able/easier to maintain...even if you screw up, you have flex points..and you always have to realize that in order to be successful and healthy, it's gonna take time! But take it one day at a time, and then one day, it'll just be easier...if you punish yourself for mistakes and eat extremely too little, you're eventually gonna break down and want lots of bad stuff...also if you just say 'the hell with it' when you screw up...you don't know how long that attitude will continue...those are the things that cause the gains and long-term damage.
Working at Curves, I've often weighed and measured people whose results are the opposite of what they'd thought they would be at that time...sometimes you don't realize that you ate a lot of salt the night before ...or that you're going to get your period...or the scale is just off for some reason b/c it's technology! You can't obsess...just keep on keepin' on!!
I'm not losing like crazy since I started WW online 2 weeks ago...first week, I lost...second week, I basically maintained...but it's keeping me from going nuts like I did for a while...I'm satiated, but healthy...and I feel like my problem areas are very slowly (and healthily) shrinking...and I'm taking on individual unhealthy habits and changing each of them one at a time (drinking more water, avoiding excess sweets I'd typically have, etc.)
