WW Help!

WW Help!

I have been trying to do it my own the last two weeks(don't have time to go to meetings). I am doing ok during the day and then totally screwing up at night! I will not buy any food during the day - just will eat what I have brought with me so that's ok. Then - when I get home at 8:30 PM after my 2nd job of the day - i lose it and eat everything!!! One of my friends told me her cousin's WW leader told her to change her day schedule - and start her 'day' at night - since she ate a lot at night. i don't want to condone eating so much at night - but since it seems I am doing it anyway and going over points - does this seem like a good idea? Anyone do this? Opinions please! I am very down about this. I feel like a failure - if i can't stop shoving food in my mouth for my own wedding...

Re: WW Help!

I used to do WW this way(no pun intended ) and it worked out great for me

I started my daily points at dinner and my last were at lunchtime. Try it for a week or 2 and see how it goes

BTW: I lost 60lbs doing it this way

You're not a failure!

Maybe if you just keep things that are lower in points around the house? And get rid of the bad stuff!!!!!!!!!

My biggest downfall is buying the granola bars and reese's for FH. Because then it's in the house and I'm likely to eat it!

Re: WW Help!

I'm on weight watchers and if there's one thing i've learned is the best thing to do is replace a habit with another habit--but this time a good one...

I have an awful habit of eating sweets every night after dinner...my solution?

Individually wrapped snacks so I don't over do it....

This week i had teddy grahams only 3 points per snack!

Try replacing the foods you're eating at night with healther ones...or if you can't...try using your flex points!

Good luck!

Re: WW Help!

When I was doing WW (I gave up before I was even engaed and now I don't have time to go back), the thing I found most helpful was having as many no or low point snacks around as possible, all times during the day. When I felt snack-y at night, I'd air pop a big bowl of popcorn and put Mrs. Dash or some other spice on it, and I felt pretty satisfied with it. Also, stuff like baby carrots, melba toast, popscicles, and lots of salad stuff. You can make yourself a big salad with zero points, and be full for hours!

Thanks for the ideas ladies!! It's been going a bit better this week - it's not as easy with all of FH's junky food all around!!!
