WW - Is it worth joining and how much does it cost?
I need to lose about 20lbs, and I don't really have time for gyms. Please let me know how WW has worked for you. Thanks.

I definitely think it is worth it. I think different locations might run different specials. I have seen people pay 12.95 weekly or buy packages- the bigger the package, the more you save.

You can pay $9.95 a week,
or prepay if you like.
I have lost 14.6lbs in 10 weeks, and I do not work out. Although I am starting next week. Danielle and I are going to do Pilates. I bought the DVD's.

WW is not like a diet, but more of a change of eating habbits. It really puts into perspective of the foods you eat and how they are made.
I have tried so many other things and nothing worked. I tried cutting down on carbs, cutting down on fat, slim fast, everything and nothing worked. I am doing weight watchers and its the best thing I have ever done. I feel great. I have so much energy and I can eat whatever I want. I eat cheeseburgers, cake, cookies, ice cream, and french fries and I still loose weight. Its fantastic.
To date I have lost 25.2 pounds. I am so happy. FI has lost 50 pounds. We started in January.
I love the way I feel, the way I look and I especially love how I have to buy new clothes
Once I hit my goal I plan on becomming a WW leader

If you don't want to go every week, or can't, you can also pay $13 a week, but only go when you can, or want to. My FMIL is a nurse who works alternating weekends, so this is what she does. FH and I stay out late and can't get up every week. Plus sometimes we just have stuff to do and can't make it every week. Helps to take the pressure off of feeling obligated to go every week. It's not for everyone, though, because you are much more 'on your own' and have to stick with the program even the weeks you don't get weighed in. But it can be fun, because if you don't go for 3 or 4 weeks, then you go in and have like a 6 or 8 pound loss, it's a great feeling. LOL. Good luck.
