ww online?

I think this was posted recently, but wondering if anyone is doing this?

I did well going to the meetings (usually just to get weighed), and was wondering if this is as effective.

I do this, a bunch of us do on here. Love it that way, allowed me to lose 25 pounds. I think once the pounds start coming off, that is incentive enough to stay on it. I am not a fan of the meetings, but that is JMO.

Do you pay the same fee as if you were going to the actual meetings? How does the online work? I have some of the older books (before flex points) and my slide...and I hated going to meetings. Any info would be helpful...I start tomorrow!!!

Re: ww online?

I did WW online and I'm going to restart it again tomorrow. I don't like meetings and don't really think it would work for me. It's $14.95 a month for WW online and you get the e-tools (online journal, food lists, etc.). The only thing you don't get are the books and all the materials they give you when you go to the meetings. I find that I don't miss having that stuff because anything I really need I can go to the WW boards and get the info from someone if I need it, plus I have some friends who do meetings so I can get info from them, but I haven't needed to yet.

The first time I did WW online I lost 20 pounds in 2 1/2 months and was 10 pounds from goal when I just slacked off. The second time I really did it, I lost 10 pounds and then slacked off again. I figure it's worth it for me to continue to spend the $14.95 a month even when I'm not doing it to have the luxury of starting back up whenever I want to without having to go to a meeting, which would be far more difficult for me to do. I would hate having to walk back into a meeting with my tail between my legs.

I do WW online and love it!! The only problem I had was I didn't have one of the scales that tells you even if you lost a fourth of pound or a half. Mine only did full pounds, so that was one of my xmas presents and now even if I lose a half I will know . You can buy the books and things from Ebay but you don't really need them.
