WW question

hey girls...

So i think i learned something new today about the WW diet....but heres the thing. I go on and off weight watchers and never knew this...i dont know if its right...but it makes a lot of sense. I have never been to a WW meeting...i have always done WW on my own. lol

So....im going to use soup as an example. It says right on the label...its 1 WW point per serving. There are 2 servings in the can. I have always counted the whole can as 2 points.....why not right?

So im talking with a friend at work and she told me....Noo...lol...its 3 points for the whole can. I looked at her confused...she explained...that you double the cal count...fat count and Dietary fiber....and it comes out to 3 points. You dont just double the point count.

Hmm....very interesting logic...i completely understand...but is it right??

Damn...is this why I dont loose as much weight as other people do??? haha

Please tell me whats right...

Re: WW question

Your friend is right. You dont just double the points..you need to double the calories, total fat, and dietery fiber.

For example: 1 pack of 100 calorie cupcakes = 1 point. But if I have two packages, it comes out to 3 points after doubling the nutriotional info.

I found this out at a meeting a few months into WW...before that I didn't know.

So 0 point foods...may not be be 0 points if you eat more than the serving size!

Yup, what Colleen said.

A good 0 point example is FF cool whip. It's 0 points for one serving (2 tablespoons). But if you eat the whole container, it's 8 points.
