I have a family bbq this weekend and with the wedding and fittings close close I do not want to blow my diet. I need to bring something that I will be able to eat so I do not have to have hamburgers and hot dogs. Any suggestions? Thanks Ladies!

Re: WW Recipe Help!
gardenburgers are always a healthy option!
also, i found recipes on ww for feta-stuffed chicken burgers. Fh and I made them and they were so good. let me see if i can find the recipe now.
In a medium bowl, combine chicken, oregano, garlic powder and feta; divide mixture into four balls and then press them gently into patties.
Grill or broil patties until internal temperature of burgers reaches 165°F, about 7 to 8 minutes per side.
Serve each burger on a bun with 1/4 of lettuce, 1/4 of peppers and 1 teaspoon of olives. Yields 1 burger per serving.

BJ's sells these AWESOME White Meat Turkey Burgers!! You could have that without the bread and bring a salad.

Re: WW Recipe Help!
Chicken breast/veggie skewer.
1. I cube bonless chicken breast. If you make the OK sign with you fingers, I make the cubes a little smaller. I like them small. Plus when you cut up the veggies everything will cook evenly.
2. Buy cherry or grape tomatoes. 3. Red pepper 4. White shrooms 5. Vidallia onion.
Cut up the onions so they are the same size (width) as the cubed chichen
Cut up the red pepper as the same size.
6. Marinate in some teriyaki sauce for a few hours. Maye tonight before you go to bed.
7. Tomoorow, make skewers and bring them with you to grill on the barbie. Bring the extar teriaki sauce to spread on while cooking.
Its great, the flavor is yum, yum and its pretty good for you. I dont know how many calories are in the teriaki sauce, but it cant be overwelming. If it is just brush some on while cooking for flavor rather than marinading them. But I marinade overnight, or at LEAST for a few hours if I can.

HOLY COW - I JUST MADE THESE LAST WEEK!!!! They are so freakin' easy to make and SOOOO delish! It tastes as if you spent hourrsssss making them!
I definitely vote for the Chicken Feta Burgers!!
Also - bring a bag of brocolli 'slaw' and toss it with a light dressing instead of cole slaw! Yum-o! (As Rachael Ray would say, hehe)

If you do happen to go to BJ's to get the Turkey Burgers they also have this salsa that is so incredibly delicious that you would think it is a sin to eat. The brand name is Margharittaville or something like that.....soo yummy and good to dip veggies in too!
