Re: WW support group

We all need some motivation sometime. My mom and FH have been neglecting WW all summer..I think I'm going to drag them back for Sunday's meeting. I also need to go for my monthly weigh in. I'm used to getting weighed in every week so hopefully I've been maintaining without the weigh in's. (Although I have checked the scale almost every day and it looks fine to me!)

I'm so excited. I tried on wedding dresses back in Jan/Feb- I was trying on sizes 14W/16. I went this past weekend and was trying on size 8!!(And some of the 8s were big on me!!)

I'm obsessed with pancakes, cupcakes, cookies, and donuts. So if I can lose weight- you ladies can too!!

WW is very inexpensive & very easy. I lost 10lbs before I was engaged on WW and I was so happy. After getting engaged I gained 15 back! I am back on WW and down 5. The last 10 is so hard to loose.

THey have different optiions- the cheapest one is the montly pass, which is like $40/month- you can go to as many meetings as you want, weigh in once a week, and have access to the e-tools. They charge your card automatically everry month though so if you sign up for it and want to quit- make sure you cancel right away.

You can also pay weekly which I think its like $12/week.

I started out paying the weekly fee, for the first two months, just to make sure I really wanted to stick with it. Then I purchased the montly pass.

Now that I've hit my goal weight and maintained it for 6 weeks I get to go for free!!

Thanks. We're giving ourselves 2 months on our own. If i don't feel like anything is happening.....think we'll look at the ww option.

I'll be joining Wednesday. I can't hack it on my own. I'm a huge fattie failure and have no willpower.

thanks, I find out in November how it went (uggg) But to kill the time, FH and I want to start getting in better shape (plus he promised me we would do our E-pics '20 pounds from now')

Since December 2006 I've lost & kept off 50lbs. I'm 5' 9' and when I started WW i was 192lbs, now I'm between 140 to 142lbs. Best thing I ever did for myself.

WW is easy enough for me to maintain my weight. No other diet really ever worked for me.
