WWYD?

what would you do if a couple replied Yes, 2. but you found out that only one plans on coming, and they don't plan on telling you until the day of?

Do you confront them or just wait it out?

Also, what would you do if you were having an adults only reception, there was a rumor going around that a couple plan on bringing their kids, which they are known to try and do and have been told NO several times already?
Do you sit down and speak with them again or just wait it out?

that is a tough one...

i guess i wouldnt say anything but i would make sure that the placecard only says the name of the person that coming...

i wouldnt pay for the other person if i knew they werent coming...

Confront them I wouldnt want to pay for someone who is definitely not coming and you definitely do not want surprise children showing up.

yea, see this would make me angry, I would make sure you tell people it's adults only and that the kids are the same price as the adults and you and your FH thought it was best to cut the kids out.

Personally, I would address that immediately, especially since they are known to do that.

I'd confront it now - But I'm also in a confrontational type of mood lately - but I would DEFINATELY address the couple who is known to bring their kids.
