WWYD

If you know someone definitely would have given you a check or cash gift and they came to your wedding and you got home and theres nothing at all from them. No card no gift nothing. Plus - I see this person every day and no word about it ..

Now its time to send thank you cards so what should I do?

I would just write 'thank you for coming' I'm sure if they DID give a card and it got lost that they'll bring it up... you have to assume at this point that they didn't write a check cause they'd notice the money didn't come out of their account yet.. so IF they gave a card it most likely had cash.

you don't want to bring it up to them in the event that they didn't give a gift and feel weird... it suc ks that people do that... but it does happen.

I think if it was a check the gifter would realize it wasnt cashed and would inquire about it themselves, Cash is diff- was there a card? Could it of gotten lost in any of the other weding things from the hall?

agreed! someone who didn't attend my bridal shower gave us martini glasses for my bridal shower- and i wrote them a thank you for the martini glasses.. and she called me to tell me she ordered wine goblets... and good thing I wrote that! sooo they will get it hopefully!

I am having this same problem! I have 2 no-gifters who I am sure would have brought one (i think). Its too awkward to ask for it. I would just write them a 'Thank you for coming' TY card. Hopefully they'll get the hint!
