so what do you think of this idea

for my girls I got them each a tote bag from ll bean with their names on it, coach clutches, and DOJ, a beach towel and i am going to put in sun screen adn a magazine since our wedding is the very beginning of summer

the guys are getting guess watches

I was thinking of putting together a box for everyone with:

a local bottle of wine
wine opener
2 glasses
cheese board

what do you think??? is this too much???? not sure what it would cost to do for everyone (10 people in total) figured it kinda went with my theme b/c it's at vineyard caterers

yes or no?

I love the wine idea... it is a lot but it's stuff they will use.. I think it depends on how much you are willing to spend, with 10 people all of that might end up costing you a lot. I think a bottle of wine, and a bottle opener or wine charms would be really nice, you probably don't need the cheese board...

i know im not going crazy because i dont have the money for it and everyone knows that in my BP and prob wouldnt care if they didnt get anything lol

it was an idea that i came up with while i was searching wine favors.
i'm broke and FH keeps yelling at me to stop spending money as i've put our joint account to good work this weekend...hmm i do like this idea though.....

I'm doing totes flip flops for the reception when their feet start to hurt, makeup cases and doj not sure bout the gm yet though

I think that's a lot. I think you could just add a bottle of wine to their gifts and that would be enough. You could get really inexpensive wine openers and the glasses from dollar tree. But cheese boards get expensive. Even if you got bottles of wine that were $10, that's $100 right there, plus glasses, say you got each person 2, thats $20, so you're up to $120, and it's just going to keep going up. I think the gifts you already got were more than generous.

I like your gifts, they are thoughtful and very usuable. If it is not a concern about money, then do it!!

I am giving my girls a tote bag with their initials as well, i think inside, I am going to put their jewelry and take them for a man/pedi the day before. I think I am spending about 100 per girl, is that too much?

Thats a really nice gift for the BP!! Wow, if you can afford it and everyone in your BP is very special then go for it. I don't think anyone goes into a BP expecting for expensive gifts or a lot but if you can and want to spoil then do it!

i like your ideas...but it sounds like you're doing alot.

if you have the money GO FOR IT

but if you don't, then don't feel guilty to cut back a little
